Washoe County deputies are investigating a shooting that killed a man in Verdi early Tuesday morning. 

The incident happened around 3 a.m. at a home on Mario Road along the Truckee River. 

Deputies say when they arrived on scene, they found a man with multiple gunshot wounds. 

Washoe County Sheriff’s Office Detectives are investigating this as an isolated incident, and there is no outstanding threat to the public.
