Authorities have identified the driver who died in a crash on U.S. 50 near Bottom Road in Fallon last Thursday.
Nevada State Police troopers say a preliminary investigation shows that a Chevrolet Cruze was turning left onto U.S. 50 while a Peterbilt semi-truck was heading east in the left lane. Troopers say the Cruze did not yield when it left a private driveway and ended up hitting the front of the Peterbilt.
Both cars started to spin into the westbound lanes where a Cadillac XT6 was heading west.
Troopers say the left side of the Cruz then hit the front of the Cadillac, coming to a stop on the shoulder while the Cadillac stopped on the westbound shoulder.
The semi-truck stopped in the middle of the road.
NSP says the driver of the Cruze, 92-year-old Mary Gilbert of Fallon died on scene.
NSP says speed and impairment are not suspected as factors in this crash.

Nevada Highway Patrol is investigating a deadly crash on U.S. 50 in Fallon.
It happened near Bottom Road just before 12:30 p.m. Thursday and involved a semi-truck and an SUV.
U.S. 50 is closed in both directions between Bottom Road and Casey Road. Traffic is being diverted to secondary roads around the scene.
Delays and closures are expected to be in place for the next few hours.
