The Storey County Sheriff's Office and the Storey County Fire Department are going head to head in a friendly competition for a good cause.
The 7th annual Virginia City Battle of the Badges blood drive is happening Wednesday, March 12 from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m.
Prospective donors will give at the Storey County Senior Center located at 100 Mill Street in Virginia City.
All donors will receive a free t-shirt, plus an entry into a contest to win $10,000.
