New legislation on Capitol Hill is aiming to expand economic development opportunities in Carson City.
It's part of the Carson City Public Land Correction Act introduced by Senator Jacky Rosen (D-NV).
The bill would provide Carson City with additional land to build more housing and commercial buildings, improve infrastructure and expand access to outdoor recreation.
