A tavern in downtown Reno closed its doors last week.

The Blind Dog Tavern first opened in 2017, and their last day of operation was on New Year's Eve.

This tavern was located in the heart of downtown near the Truckee River.

In a social media post, the Tavern says they're honored to have had the opportunity to serve every single person that has stopped by for a drink or two.

"This is unfortunate news, but we do not want this to be a sad situation. Blind Dog Tavern was an absolutely amazing experience for us. We feel honored to have had the opportunity to serve every single libation to every single amazing thirsty person who joined us for a drink or two. Thank you all for your patronage."
