Charter College-Reno is inviting community members, healthcare partners, and local leaders to its campus for a ribbon cutting and open house to celebrate the expansion of its healthcare education offerings and new imaging and healthcare facilities.
The event will be held on Tuesday, June 10, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the front entrance of the Charter College-Reno location, located at 750 Sandhill Road, Suite #100.
Highlights of the event will include speeches from community leaders and college representatives, a formal ribbon-cutting ceremony at 10:30 a.m., campus tours, and networking opportunities with refreshments.
The celebration marks the upcoming launch of the Certificate in Medical Assistant Program, which will join the existing Associate of Applied Science in Diagnostic Medical Sonography and Radiologic Technology degree programs.
Charter College says these additions reinforce Charter College-Reno’s role in preparing future healthcare professionals in Northern Nevada.
