The City of Sparks will be removing a significant number of trees from a popular park near Lena Juniper Elementary School.
Aimone Park will see crews removing 27 Juniper trees and shrubs from Aimone Park.
Crews have determined that the trees and shrubs were losing limbs during windstorms, and in the process interfering with NV Energy power lines.
They estimate that the entire project will take approximately two weeks to complete.
The City of Sparks extends their apologies for any inconvenience.
