Agriculture students from the AACT High School in Reno invite everyone to their plant sale fundraiser, happening this weekend.

Arbor Day, the annual holiday that focuses on the importance of planting and preservation of trees, is being celebrated at two different events this weekend.

The Wilbur D. May Arboretum will host a seed exchange hosted by the May Arboretum Society.  

The City of Sparks will be removing a significant number of trees from a popular park near Lena Juniper Elementary School.

The money raised takes care of the grounds at the arboretum, the most plant diverse area in Northern Nevada.
