Construction on Mill Street has been temporarily shut down for Hot August Nights - but will be picking back up soon.
According to a press release from the Regional Transportation Commission of Washoe County (RTC), construction will restart on Mill Street on Sunday night, August 10th.
Construction will be resumed on both day and night shifts at that point.
Morning crews will be working from 6:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m., and night crews will begin at 7:00 p.m, Sunday night to Friday.
Drivers will see lane closures and some traffic signals will be flashing red for four-way stop conditions during night work.
Matley Lane at Mill Street will be closed for 14 days beginning on August 10 - during that time, traffic will not be allowed onto Matley Lane from Mill Street. A detour using Vassar Street will be established.
