Washoe County Sheriff's Office, Sparks Police Department, Storey County Sheriff's Office and Nevada State Police continue to address traffic safety along the I-80 corridor.
The I-80 and USA Parkway Traffic Safety Operation focuses on improving traffic flow and addresses dangerous driving and moving violations.
In its latest operation, Washoe County deputies saw multiple drivers running red lights, which later led to traffic stops on those affected cars.
"Dangerous driving puts everyone on the road at risk. Slow down, stay alert and follow the rules of the road," says the sheriff's office on Facebook.
Drivers can expect increased law enforcement presence in the area as the joint operation continues.
