Cow on roadway

Washoe County deputies help people but they also help animals too.

The sheriff's office posted photos of a Gerlach deputy who was dispatched to a cow stuck in a cattle guard on SR 447. 

Eventually, the cow was hoisted off the roadway where it was returned safely to the ranch where it belonged.Â
