A house fire broke out in south Reno early Monday evening, forcing one person to evacuate.
The fire broke out just before 4:20 p.m. on Monday in the Damonte Ranch area on Rose Mist Court.
AÂ spokesperson for the Reno Fire Department says the fire was kept to the room where it started, described as a "living area."
The owner of the home was at home at the time the fire broke out, but she was able to escape the home on her own.
Reno Fire said the home is pretty damaged from the heat and smoke of the blaze.
Fire crews from multiple agencies responded to the fire, as did REMSA.
