The Sierra Regional Roller Derby League, the area's local roller derby organization, will be hosting a doubleheader this month in Sparks.
The event features two of our area home teams, as the Sierra All Stars face Medford, Oregon's SO Derby, and the Sierra Battle Born take on Sick Town Roller Derby out of Corvallis, Oregon.
It all takes place at El Sol de Nevada, at 1580 Hymer Ave in Sparks on April 26. The doors open at 2:30 p.m. and the first bout starts at 3:00 p.m.
Attendees to the event can expect local vendors, food, drinks and merchandise for sale.
