North Lyon Fire is investigating a fire at an apartment that displaced one person and their pet early Monday morning.
Firefighters responded to Silver Lace Boulevard near E. Main Street in Fernley around 5 a.m.
They say the fire started in the kitchen and eventually reached the attic.
The inside of the apartment sustained moderate damage.
