An Elko man was arrested on Thursday and charged with possession of child sexual abuse material.
Detectives with the Elko Police Department, working with the EPD's patrol division, served a search warrant on Oak Street after getting a tip through ICAC (Internet Crimes Against Children), according to a post from the EPD on Facebook.
Over several months, detectives found probable cause to arrest Gregory Regan of Elko.
Regan was arrested for possession of visual presentation depicting sexual conduct of a person under 16.
An investigation into further illegal conduct by Regan is ongoing.
