Police are trying to identify a suspect in connection with a shooting at a Truckee home.
It happened in the area of Deerfield Dr, resulting in the death of a family dog.
According to the Truckee Police, the person in the photo shown is believed to be responsible for the crime.
The person is described as a Hispanic male who is approximately 18-20 years old, about 5’7” tall, and 170 pounds, having a light complexion, short black hair, and a mustache.
The person was seen in a video on Tuesday, December 2, and then again when the crime happened on December 9. Police say they appear to be wearing the same clothing on both occasions.
Police also say the person in the photo appears to be carrying a box believed to contain a firearm.
