On September 2, around 9:45 p.m., the Nevada State Police responded to a vehicle/pedestrian crash at I-80 and Sparks Boulevard in Sparks.
The pedestrian, 23-year old Michael Felix of Fresno, California, was declared dead on scene.
The investigation indicates that a 2022 Freightliner Tow Truck was driving eastbound on I-80 east of Sparks Boulevard.
Felix was walking in a travel lane on eastbound I-80, and was hit by the Freightliner.
The Nevada State Police is investigating the crash.
