JULY 30, 7:40 P.M. UPDATE:
The Sparks Fire Department quickly put out a fire at Green Planet 21 Recycling in the area of Byars Lane and South 21st Street.
The fire involved cardboard boxes, according to a notification on the My Sparks app.
It was quickly brought under control, with no reported injuries. One engine stayed on scene to monitor conditions and extinguish any hot spots.
18 fire personnel and two personnel from REMSA responded to the blaze.
This is the second fire this recycling facility has experienced this month, after a previous fire on July 21.

Evacuations put in place after a fire broke out outside a building near Glendale Avenue and Byars Lane in Sparks have been lifted.
According to a release from the Sparks Fire Department, the fire is under control.
It is believed to have started outside Green Planet 21, a building in the area.
No buildings were affected, according to firefighters, but outdoor equipment and recyclable materials were damaged.
The fire spread quickly due to wind.
Road closures were in place so first responders could get through with heavy equipment. Those closures have since been lifted.
While crews suspect the fire started outside a business, the cause of the fire is still under investigation.

A fire that started outside of a building near Glendale Avenue and Byars Lane in Sparks is putting up a lot of smoke.
Evacuations are in place for Glendale businesses. Glendale is closed between Galletti Way and Rock Boulevard.
The fire started around 3:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
Fire crews say no injuries are reported.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
