Fire prompts evacuations near Byars Lane in Sparks; Portion of Glendale closed
A fire that started outside of a building near Glendale Avenue and Byars Lane in Sparks is putting up a lot of smoke.

The Sparks Fire Department quickly put out a fire at Green Planet 21 Recycling in the area of Byars Lane and South 21st Street, the second reported fire there this month.
Crews remain on scene. The fire may continue to produce smoke in the area for several days.Â
