Firefighters have stopped forward progress on the Ironwood Fires in Palomino Valley.
The Ironwood Fires are made up of the Razor Fire and the Dazzle Fire.
They are burning near Winnemucca Ranch Road and Ironwood Road.
At one point, the fires were burning on both sides of Pyramid Highway at a moderate rate of spread.
According to Washoe County, fire crews are in mop up mode.
Pyramid Highway remains closed in both directions from Ironwood Road to Winnemucca Ranch Road.
