Renown Children's Hospital and Safe Kids Northern Nevada are partnering with REMSA for a free car seat inspection checkpoint Saturday from 9 a.m. to noon.Â
REMSA's Safety Seats program is designed to help parents and caregivers ensure their car seats are correctly installed.
To participate, bring your children and your seats to the Safe Kids Washoe County headquarters at 1095 E. 2nd Street in Reno.
Organizers say you should plan to spend about 30 to 45 minutes per seat.
For those who can't attend Saturday, REMSA also provides free car seat inspections year-round by appointment. Learn more at the REMSA Health website.
