Keep Tahoe Blue

Keep Tahoe Blue is inviting volunteers to help clean up the Lake Tahoe shoreline over Labor Day weekend.

The 12th Annual Labor Day Cleanup will be held Monday, September 7, from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. at Kings Beach State Recreation Area.

Visitors, residents, businesses and community groups are encouraged to take part in the cleanup, helping remove litter and spruce up the beach and surrounding area as summer comes to an end.

The event is part of Keep Tahoe Blue’s Tahoe Blue Beach program, which promotes lake-friendly recreation and brings together local organizations, businesses and community members to help protect Lake Tahoe.

You can register in advance at KeepTahoeBlue.org/laborday.
