With Halloween in the rear view, the Lake Mansion would like to help everyone kickstart their holiday season.
The Lake Mansion Holiday Arts Festival, hosted by Arts for All Nevada, is a free open-to-the-public family festival happening on Saturday, November 9 from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m.
The festival features hands-on art making stations, a holiday-themed selfie station and a holiday pop-up store.
The historic Lake Mansion will be decorated for the holidays, and will be open for self-guided tours.
All kids in attendance will get a free book from Spread the Word Nevada, and there will also be a toy drive to benefit the Northern Nevada Children's Cancer Foundation.
The Lake Mansion Holiday Art Festival is made possible through the support of the Nevada Arts Council, the Nell J. Redfield Foundation, the E.L. Cord Foundation, the Marshall R. Matley Foundation and Robert Z. Hawkins Foundation.
