Lyon County Sheriff's Office says they arrested a non-compliant sex offender in Dayton this week.
Deputies contacted 43-year-old Christopher Hartle, a Tier III registered sex offender, at the Dayton Substation around 10:45 a.m. on Wednesday.
During the contact, deputies say they determined that Hartle failed to complete his required sex offender verification within the required timeframe, a felony violation.
Hartle was subsequently arrested and transported to the Lyon County Jail without incident.
Hartle was booked on one felony count of violating his sex offender registration requirements,
with bail set at $5,000.
