A shooting at a Sparks apartment Monday evening left one man with life-threatening injuries and prompted an ongoing police investigation into what occurred.
Sparks Police say they responded at about 7:09 p.m. to an apartment on Oddie Boulevard after receiving a report of a shooting that had just occurred.
Officers found a 27-year-old man suffering from a gunshot wound. He was treated at the scene by paramedics before being taken to a hospital with life-threatening injuries.
Police also contacted a woman inside the apartment. She is cooperating with the investigation.
Authorities said there is no threat to the public and that all people involved have been contacted.
