A new report has been released by the Nevada State Police today that provides details into a fatal crash on USA Parkway on October 14.
The crash happened around 6:40 p.m. at mile marker 3 on USA Parkway, otherwise known as SR-439.
The investigation has determined that a Toyota Tundra was traveling the wrong way, going northbound in one of the southbound lanes of the road.
A Toyota 4Runner was going southbound in the same lane when the two crashed.
The driver of the Tundra, identified as 82-year old Jimmy Rumelhart from Antioch, CA, was transported to the hospital. He succumbed to his injuries and was declared dead at the hospital.
The crash is still under investigation by the Nevada State Police Highway Patrol Northern Command West Traffic Homicide Unit.
