Community members are invited to join a memorial cruise in honor of Izabella Loving, with participants decorating their motorcycles and cars in pink as a tribute on Sunday.
A public Facebook event invites the community to take part in a memorial motorcycle and car cruise in remembrance of Izabella Loving, who organizers say “was taken far too soon.
The cruise will begin at 1 p.m. at Cold Springs Park, located at 3355 White Lake Parkway, and end at the Believe Sign in downtown Reno. See the map route below.
Motorcycles will lead the tribute, with cars following behind.
According to the event’s Facebook post, attendees are encouraged to wear pink or decorate their vehicles in pink, the color chosen to symbolize love and remembrance, “to honor her beautiful spirit” and show that “Izabella’s light still shines in all of us.”
“Please remember to cruise and go slow,” the event post reads. “We want to make sure people see who we’re representing, and we want everyone to be safe.”
Organizers ask participants to arrive early to allow time for decorating and to get questions answered.
