It's that time of the year where sports books start to see an increase in sports bets due to March Madness.
With Nevada playing in the NCAA, there may be some bets placed on them.
The Peppermill says while March Madness is always a great time for them, a lot of people are really excited to see how far Nevada will go.
"We always see bets for Nevada when they're in. This year a little bit more just because they've had a great team all year round, kind of ups and downs." said John Haines, Director of Race and Sports for Peppermill. "Mountain West has been a really tough division so a lot of good teams battling it out so it would be fun to see how far all six of those teams can go."
Even though the Wolfpack lost their first game against Colorado State during the Mountain West Tournament, Haines believes that they still have a good shot at making it into the sweet sixteen.
He said the Peppermill will be focusing a lot on prop betting this year, meaning you can bet how far your favorite team will make it in the tournament.
"You can bet Nevada can go to the sweet sixteen, about five to one just to make it that far which I think that's a good bet because you know you have a couple days' worth of action, and it will be decided by the end of the weekend, so that's probably the most popular bet."
