Nevada Kids Foundation's 5th Annual Making Spirits Brighter Holiday Donation Drive is almost done, and their asking the community for help one last time.
Donation bins and Angel Trees are available at their partnering businesses throughout Northern Nevada, listed in the flyers.
According to organizers, the foundation is collecting a range of things, including new toys, clothing, toiletries, bedding, teen-friendly gifts, and essential items now through December 12.
“We have Angel Trees and donation boxes across Reno and Sparks, but we need the public’s help to fill them,” said Nevada Kids Foundation Founder Kallie Todaro. “Every gift, every warm jacket, every toy, every hygiene kit, truly makes a meaningful difference for a child who deserves to feel hope and joy this holiday season.”
The organizers are also highlighting what's important about this year's drive.
The organizers say, local children and teens are facing significant hardship, and every donated item directly supports the underserved youth.
