The Nevada Treasury's Office has extended the deadline for the 5th annual "What do you want to be when you grow up" art contest to October 13.
Nevada Treasury's Office says, "Students across Nevada still have a few weeks to submit their original artwork for a chance to win up to $1,000."
Students who win will use the awards to contribute for their 529 college savings accounts.
First, Second and Third place winners will be selected from each grade level.
The nvigate website states, "Use your artistic skills and imagination to create an original artwork that shows us what you want to be when you grow up!"
