Today, Nevadans for Reproductive Freedom advocates joined 1990 Campaign for Choice chair Maggie Tracey to reflect on the fight to protect abortion and reproductive freedom in Nevada, and voice their support for voting yes on Question 6 this fall.Â
Supporters of Question 6 said it will enshrine abortion rights in the state constitution.
"Now is the time for Nevadans to take that final step to cement the right to abortion permanently in this state's constitution so we can protect women in this state, and so we don't see the horror stories that are coming out of our neighboring states," said Tova Yempolsky, Campaign Manager of Nevadans for Reproductive Freedom.
Question 6 is what the initiative will be called on the ballot in the election this November.
Abortion is already legal under Nevada law.
