Job seekers across Northern Nevada will have several opportunities in September to meet employers, explore open positions and get help with resumes, interviews and other career skills through EmployNV.
The upcoming schedule includes hiring events in Fernley, Fallon and Reno, as well as career workshops and recurring programs in Reno, Ely, Sparks and Carson City. Pre-registration is encouraged through the EmployNV.govonline event calendar, but walk-ins are welcome.

Hiring events
Fernley: Agru will hold a hiring event from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday, September 1, at the EmployNV Business/Career Hub, 1320 W. Newlands Drive. Fallon: Agru will hold a hiring event from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday, September 2, at the EmployNV Business/Career Hub, 121 Industrial Way. The same positions are available. Details are available at tinyurl.com/yhflwsfs.
Reno: Arrow Security will hold a hiring event from 9 a.m. to noon Thursday, September 3, at the EmployNV Business Hub, 4001 S. Virginia St., Suite 8. The company is hiring unarmed security guards at $19 per hour. Details are available at tinyurl.com/23bovd2v.
Career workshops
Reno: A financial literacy workshop will be held from 10:30 a.m. to noon Tuesday, September 1, at the EmployNV Career Hub, 4001 S. Virginia St., Suite 8.
Sparks: A resume and career workshop will begin at 2 p.m. Wednesday, September 2, at the EmployNV Career Hub, 2281 Pyramid Way. The workshop lasts one hour.
Carson City: An interview workshop will begin at 10 a.m. Thursday, September 3, at the EmployNV Business/Career Hub, 1929 N. Carson St. The workshop lasts one hour.
Recurring events
Ely: A resume workshop is held every Wednesday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the EmployNV Business/Career Hub, 1500 Ave. F, Suite 1.
Virtual: A virtual job club for Ely and White Pine County is held every Wednesday from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. at bit.ly/VirtualJobClub-Ely.
Carson City: A career development event is held every Friday from 10 a.m. to noon at the Carson City Library, 900 N. Roop St., in the second-floor learning center.
