NV Energy says an underground equipment failure caused an early morning power outage in south Reno.Â
The outage, which started around 5:30 a.m. on Friday affected nearly 1,600 customers in three different zip codes.Â
There's no immediate word on where the failure specifically happened, or what caused the issue in the first place.
