The Reno Fire Department responded to a fire at a duplex on East 9th Street overnight, with one firefighter suffering injuries as they battled the blaze.
It happened late Friday night according to a post from the Reno Firefighters Association on Facebook.
When firefighters arrived on scene they found a single-story duplex with flames and heavy smoke showing.
One firefighter is being treated for non-life-threatening injuries after falling through a hole inside the duplex.
The fire was quickly put out and the duplex was deemed vacant after a quick search.
The fire started spreading to vegetation outside the duplex, but that was also quickly extinguished.
