One person was taken to the hospital and two family members were displaced after a fire broke out at a Damonte Ranch home late Monday night.
Reno Fire Department crews were called to the fire at 2223 Big Trail Circle at around 10:09 p.m. The first engine arrived five minutes later.
Reno Fire Department says that 36 of their firefighters responded, along with four mutual aid firefighters from Truckee Meadows Fire & Rescue.
Firefighters were able to keep the fire confined to the kitchen and dining room.
One person was treated at the scene for injuries before being taken to a hospital. No information was provided about that person's condition.
Two family members were displaced by the fire and were connected with family and the Red Cross.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
