Drivers should expect delays on Sparks Boulevard next week as crews continue paving work in Sparks.
The Regional Transportation Commission of Washoe County will conduct daytime paving on Sparks Boulevard between Prater Way and Baring Boulevard from Monday, November 2, through Saturday, November 7.
Motorists should anticipate traffic delays in the work zone, along with intermittent closures of Tyco Way, Express Street and Springland/O’Callaghan.
RTC encourages drivers to use alternate routes, allow extra travel time and avoid the construction area when possible.
The RTC's Sparks Boulevard project is scheduled for completion in June 2027.
