A pedestrian has been hospitalized in critical condition after being hit by a car in the parking lot of the Costco in Sparks.
Police say it happened just before 12:15 p.m. on Wednesday in the Galleria Parkway lot.
Police say the driver remained on scene and is cooperating with the investigation.
The Major Accident Investigation Team is handling the investigation, which is ongoing.
The Costco parking lot was closed for a time but has since reopened.
