An updated map on the NV Energy website's Outage page shows that the power outage affecting over 5,000 people in Sparks has been cleared.

Over 5,000 people in Sparks are without power early this evening due to an unplanned power outage.
According to an update on NV Energy's website, at around 6:05 p.m. the outage was reported in the area of Wedekind Regional Park in Sparks.
So far, there is no word on what caused the outage.
NV Energy says that there is no current estimation on a fix.
