Earlier on Sunday, the Reno punk community held their annual Punk Rock Flea Market.

There was live music, many different vendors, food trucks, and more.

Organizers with the event say that it's all about having a good time and helping people that are part of the scene share their work.

"There's a pretty large music scene in Reno, and a big art scene with Burning Man, and all sorts of museums and whatnot - so it gives new artists and existing artists a place to sell their wares, and we have a big crowd that comes in for all sorts of reasons," said Ryan Rollings.

The flea market features a lot of different items such as clothing, jewelry, records, patches and more.

People we spoke with say this is always a fun way for the Reno punk community to connect, and that anybody is welcome at these events.

Many of the vendors bring unique items, and one artist says this flea market has given him the chance to get closer with the community and show what his work is all about.

"I do a kind of 3D art that is abstract 3D art; and it is very hard for people to see it around because it requires a pair of glasses to be seen. So, you don't see people in the museums or the galleries having this kind of art, so for me it is very to cool to spread the whole idea of it," said Bernardo Navarro.

Now that the event is over, organizers and attendees say they are already looking forward to other punk rock events in the future.
