A rider was hospitalized after a motorcycle crash on Pyramid Highway north of SR 446 on Tuesday.

The Nevada Highway Patrol says they responded at 11:16 a.m. to a report of a single-vehicle crash on State Route 445 near Washoe mile marker 30, just past the turnoff for State Route 446 on the Sutcliffe side of Pyramid Highway.

Troopers said the preliminary investigation found that a motorcycle heading northbound on SR 445 went off the road on the right side and overturned.

The rider was taken to a local hospital with reported non-life-threatening injuries. The person’s current condition is unknown.

Impairment is not suspected, according to NHP.
