The Regional Transportation Commission of Washoe County (RTC) will host a public meeting next week to discuss planned improvements for Moya Boulevard between Red Rock Road and Echo Avenue.
The meeting will take place on Thursday, Sept. 17, from 5 to 7 p.m. at the North Valleys Community Center, 8085 Silver Lake Road in Reno.
RTC staff will present an overview of the Moya Boulevard Capacity and Safety Project at 5:30 p.m.
RTC is designing improvements to address safety along the corridor and accommodate current and future travel needs.
“Moya Boulevard is part of this community’s daily life, and the corridor needs to work safely for the people who use it every day,” said Ashley Hurlbut, RTC project manager. “This meeting gives residents and commuters a chance to see what we’re proposing, ask questions and help us make sure the project addresses the needs of the community.”
During the meeting, attendees can review project plans and maps, speak with the project team and provide feedback.
