A man reported missing from the Goldfield area has been found, along with his truck in Inyo County.Â
Esmeralda County deputies announced Thursday that 73-year-old Donald Taylor was found near Saline Valley Road and Highway 190 after he drove his Ford F-250 to a local hot spring where it got stuck in an area with no cell service. Eventually he told some residents that he needed help removing his truck and he was taken to a nearby town and given food, water and shelter - until the truck was removed on Wednesday.Â
“Everyone involved was unaware that Taylor was reported missing until September 18, 2025, when an employee from the Cal-Nevada Towing Company was dispatched to tow Taylor’s truck back to his residence in Goldfield, Nevada, and realized that the vehicle matched the description of Taylor’s truck," says the Esmeralda County Sheriff's Office.Â
