Authorities have identified the e-scooter driver who died in a crash on Sun Valley Blvd. near Gepford Parkway last month.
The crash happened just south of Desiree Court right after 6:45 p.m. on March 17.
Nevada Highway Patrol says a preliminary investigation shows that a 2007 Toyota Camry was heading south on Sun Valley Blvd. while an e-scooter was heading north in the outside shoulder when the Camry hit the e-scooter and continued on until it hit a ditch and overturned.
NHP says the e-scooter rider, identified as 34-year-old Gabrielle Frugoli of Sparks died on scene.
The driver of the Toyota Camry was transported to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The Nevada Highway Patrol Major Incident Reconstruction Team is investigating this crash.
