UPDATE (11/4, 12:05 p.m.):
A report released by the Reno Police Department provides more information into last night's shooting at the Sky Vista Commons Apartments.
Just after 8:00 p.m. officers were called out to 9455 Sky Vista Parkway.
When officers arrived, they found a male minor with apparent gunshot wounds. REMSA arrived and transported the minor to the hospital.
Officers also found an adult woman with a gunshot wound, after she had attempted to bring herself to the hospital. REMSA responded to her location and brought her into the hospital as well.
Both the woman and the minor remain in the hospital, with non-life threatening injuries.
An investigation found that the minor had tried to shoot an adult man and missed - the woman who was hit was a bystander.
The man who was shot at initially went and got his own gun and shot the minor, who was still armed.
Police have determined that the minor is the suspect in the shooting, and all parties are cooperating with the investigation. There is no outstanding threat to the public.

Reno Police were called to the site of a shooting tonight at Sky Vista where two people were shot.
The call came in around 8:20 p.m. of a report of shots fired at 9455 Sky Vista, at the Sky Vista Commons Apartments.
One of the people who was shot got in a car and traveled to a nearby Jack in the Box on Lemmon Drive, where they were met by REMSA and officers from RPD.
The severity of both victims' injuries is currently unknown.
Officials believe that there is no threat to the community.
