The Sparks City Council voted on a matter involving the approval or rejection to settle pending litigation.
In December of 2023, Nancy Baker alleges she was injured due to negligence of the City in fixing a sidewalk defect on Victorian Avenue.Â
She is now requesting a sum of $200,000 from the City.
The council voted unanimously to direct the city manager and the city attorney to work together to negotiate a counter offer.
