Storey County drug arrest

A Sparks man is facing numerous drug-related charges after being arrested in Storey County on Thursday.

Deputies say they conducted a traffic stop on USA Parkway and noticed that the driver looked nervous and was shaking.

They say after the driver agreed to a search of the car, officers found psilocybin mushrooms, suspected cocaine, suspected ketamine, 2CB phenethylamine, Adderall pills, MDMA pills, THC gummies, 4 bottles of "jungle juice" (inhalant), suspected LSD, a digital scale and multiple plastic baggies.

The driver, Alejandro Vargas was placed under arrest and transported to the Storey County Detention Facility on the following charges:

* Sell, transport, give, or attempt to sell, transport, or give schedule I or II controlled substance, 1st offense

* Possess schedule I or II controlled substance, 14g or more but less than 28g

* Possess schedule I or II controlled substance, less than 14g, 1st or 2nd offense

* Possess schedule III, IV, or V controlled substance, less than 28g, 1st or 2nd offense

* Possess marijuana more than 1oz less than 50lbs, more than 1/8oz less than 1lb concentrate

* Use or possess drug paraphernalia
