Sparks Police have arrested a man for murder following a shooting on Saturday night on Woodhaven Drive.
It happened on September 26 just before 11:40 p.m., according to a release from the SPD.
Officers arrived to find a shooting victim, identified as Dante Williams. They provided medical aid, and REMSA arrives soon after to continue giving aid.
Williams was taken to Renown, where he died from his injuries.
Other officers saw a car fleeing the scene and tried to chase it.
The suspect car stopped out of view of officers, and the people inside ran from the car and were not located at that time.
On Sunday, September 27, around 7 p.m., detectives found the suspect, identified as Charly Villalobos, and arrested him on a charge of murder.
The Regional Gang Unit and Regional Crime Suppression Unit assisted in his location and arrest.
