The Nevada Highway Patrol and Nevada Department of Transportation are reporting a fatal crash in the Silver Springs area that is blocking lanes on U.S. 50 and Ramsay Weeks Cutoff.

Authorities have released the name of the man killed in a shooting in Fernley on Monday. 

New details were released after a rollover crash near Fallon left one person dead and two injured. 

Travis Smith was arrested in May of 2025 and has now been sentenced in court.
