Sparks residents will have a chance to meet Fire Chief Dave Cochran on Tuesday evening, ask questions, and share their thoughts on local fire and emergency services during a community gathering.
The City of Sparks is inviting residents to meet Chief Cochran from 5:30 to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 27, at Pinocchio's Bar and Grill, located at 4820 Vista Blvd. The gathering is open to the public and will allow residents to learn more about the Sparks Fire Department's operations and discuss what matters most to their community.
Cochran now serves as fire chief for both the Sparks and Reno fire departments. He said connecting with residents and hearing their concerns is an important part of serving the community.
"Connecting with our community is an important part of what we do," Cochran said. "We want to hear from our residents, answer their questions, and better understand what matters most to the people we serve."
