A 33-year-old woman faces a felony charge after being arrested in Storey County late Tuesday night.

Deputies say they arrested 33-year Jordan Taylor in the Tahoe Reno Industrial Center regarding a felony warrant issued by Virginia Township Justice Court.

Deputies say they previously had contact with Taylor last December after a pursuit, in which she was a passenger in the suspect car. Deputies say a subsequent investigation yielded stolen sports memorabilia, comic books, burglary tools and other items.

Taylor is being held in the Storey County Detention Facility on $5,000 bond.

UPDATE - January 17, 2025

The Storey County Sheriff's Office (SCSO) says that additional charges have been brought against the pair that was previously arrested in December 2024 on multiple charges after ramming two patrol cars and eluding deputies in a car chase.

In an online post, Storey County Sheriff's Deputies say that while following up on the activities of the pair prior to their arrest, they learned information in their investigation that led them to obtain a search warrant for a hotel room where the suspects had been staying.

On January 2, Storey County Sheriff's Investigations and Patrol Divisions served that search warrant, and inside the hotel room they found several collectible items that were valued at more than $100,000. Items that have all been confirmed to have been stolen from storage facilities in the Reno-Sparks area.

Storey County Sheriff's Office says they are working with Reno and Sparks Police Departments as well as the Washoe County Sheriff's Department to try and identify the victims of these thefts.

SCSO is asking for anyone who rents a storage unit in the Reno-Sparks area who has discovered they are the victim of a recent theft to please contact your local law enforcement agency and file a report.

They say they are in possession of many collectibles, including sports memorabilia and comic books, and are working hard to try and find the owners of all the found property.

They also ask that if anyone has any information on these cases or believes they may be a victim of a related theft, to please contact the detectives working the case, either Detective Chris Hamblin or Detective Sam Hatley, at the Storey County Sheriff's Office at (775) 847-0959.

ORIGINAL - December 30, 2024:

The Storey County Sheriff's Office arrested two people in a stolen SUV after they led deputies on a police chase after fleeing from a traffic stop on Sunday afternoon.

In an online post, SCSO says that a little after 12 p.m. on Sunday, a deputy attempted to make a traffic stop on a silver SUV on USA Parkway in the Tahoe Reno Industrial Center, McCarran, when the driver of the SUV failed to stop to the police car's lights and sirens, instead the driver fled.

Deputies say that while attempting to flee authorities the driver intentionally struck two patrol cars, causing damage, and continued onto I-80 going westbound.

Deputies say they later found the SUV on Peri Ranch Road in Lockwood. With the assistance of the Washoe County Sheriff's Office, they made another high-risk traffic stop on the SUV and were able to take the driver, identified as 54-year-old Michael Hunter of Sparks, and a female passenger, identified as 33-year-old Jordan Taylor, into custody.

SCSO says that during a records check on the SUV it was found to be stolen out of Reno.

They say that both Hunter and Taylor were transported to the Storey County Detention Facility and booked on the following charges:
